Day 105 (A Hundred & Five) of 365 days
Love is the only thing that keeps us going and makes us less robotic in a world that requires us to work, think and act like we are programmed bots. Everyone needs love and we spend most of our energy on loving others — be it friends, spouses, children, or family.
We all like to spread love, but the question is — do we produce enough for ourselves?

Modern society is shaped in such a way that we are sort of bound to constantly compete against each other, or even ourselves. We are always trying to reach our short-term goals and trying to better ourselves to match the expectations set upon us by society. Many of us are guilty of working long hours and getting less sleep each night; we travel the extra mile and feel content that we have achieved perfectionism. We grind in and out every week; even during the weekend 'relaxing' and 'having a good time' seems like a chore.
Appreciate yourself at every achievement of yours. No matter how small it is, it's an achievement nonetheless and hence deserves to applaud and appreciated! Make sure that you give yourself special treatment for success and even small achievements. Be proud of them so that the world knows you have done something important and special! Life truly is very hectic and we hardly get time for ourselves. But that doesn't mean you keep neglecting yourself. So take out time from your hectic schedule and listen to your heart. Do something special for yourself and pamper yourself. It can be anything; drinking hot coffee at midnight, listening to soft music, getting a massage, going to a spa, or simply sitting outside while it's raining! Just make sure you do pamper yourself once in a while!
Loving and believing in yourself is the key to thriving abundantly. When you love yourself—unconditionally—your mindset shifts to the energy of love and abundance. It enables you to have more peace, confidence, and happiness which empowers you. When you feel powerful, your attitude changes from pessimism to optimism, and, you will attract more uplifting people and experiences in your life.
If you struggle with loving yourself, it's most likely because you judge yourself for mistakes made or because you don't feel valued or validated due to childhood experiences. You can change those memories by forgiving and forgetting. Forgive yourself and others to "let go" of what bothers you.
Let go, hold 'you', pamper 'you' and care for 'you, that's because no one will. I love myself and you can affirm that too.
