Have you ever been crippled or felt so incapable of something? Has anything felt so empowering that you didn’t know what to do or how to tackle the situation? Have you felt so depressed that you really don’t know where the source of depression was coming from?

These are the questions that came to my mind when I think about every tear that ever hits my face.

Many people think that crying is the equivalent of being weak, but I disagree. I think that crying is brave because it makes you vulnerable even though it’s uncomfortable to feel that way. It’s important to let your emotions out.

We have all cried, all of us, some more than others. But today, I am not here to divide us by the little tears we harvested but unite us because we are all same. We all feel sad, stressed, overwhelmed, and frustrated at times.

Today, I want to let you know that it is not shameful to be in tears. That you are not a failure just because you couldn’t handle the situation. That you had been doing so well, too well, that is why you’re now breaking.

We shouldn’t be afraid to have self-feelings. More importantly, it’s only by having self-feelings that we’re able to recognize the message they’re sending us and then make positive changes in our lives.

If you see someone crying, reach out to them. Don’t judge, because being there could mean the world to them. If you’re a man, it’s okay to cry too, because only strong people dare to show their feelings.

Tears come from stress, sorrow, pain, and frustration, but they make your pain lessen, and help you get up again.

The changes you need to make in your life don’t need to be on a grand scale. Simple changes to your life routine may have a much larger impact on your happiness than you can imagine.

So, cry if you’re hurting, and realize you don’t have to accept your unfulfilling situation.
