Opportunities may or may not be once in a life-time phenomenon. For instance, sport-men keep training vigorously throughout the year for that one opportunity to prove their mettle and their moment of glory. However, they might not get that opportunity for various reasons. While others such as property dealer and stockbrokers act according to the opportunities before them and go for the killing once a suitable opportunity comes.

Opportunities are not magic wands, one wave of which will leapfrog us to the pinnacle of success. They are in essence, chances that we create for ourselves after years and years of hard work and perseverance. Opportunity is nothing else but the time that plays various roles in the life of various people. It is the most powerful deciding factors that make millions of people think and work differently at the same time. We all have got an opportunity to lead our life and the same twenty-four hours has been allotted to all of us. But some flourish and prosper while some suffer and remain in poverty.

Even if you don’t have the opportunity in your life, make the door and opportunity would like to knock at that door. All problems contain the seeds of opportunity and this awareness allows you to take the moment and transform it into a better situation or thing. While some people believe that opportunities are gotten by luck, I refuse to accept the notion. Lucky people generate their good fortune via four basic principles. They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies through positive expectations, and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.

People who rely on luck tend to believe that they can get an opportunity without preparation. I deeply doubt their thoughts because even if you get the opportunity through luck, you will lose it if you’re not capable to deal with it.

So, don’t wait for opportunities, build one!
